The student must write a summary and reflection on women in ministry in 1 Timothy 2:8-15.

a. The following areas should be included:

i. Introduction and Conclusion
ii. Summary of the presentation from our guest speaker, Rev. Debbie Kunst.
iii. Summarize the relevant sections from the textbook commentary
(1-2 Timothy, Titus, Hebrews (Cornerstone Biblical Commentary) J. Ramsey Michaels, Jon Laansma, Linda Belleville) and a second exegetical commentary (e.g., BECNT, WBC, PNTC, UBC, IVPNTC), and compare your findings with the guest speaker where applicable.
iv. Summarize the class notes and discussion (what were our conclusions) and compare them with the speaker where applicable.
v. Biblical Theology: How the context of the letter and scripture as a whole contribute to the issue of women in ministry (be specific – e.g., Miriam, Deborah, Anna, Priscilla).
vi. Personal Insight – How have the lectures, commentaries, and Scripture challenged and/or reaffirmed your own views? Feel free to raise questions yet unanswered regarding this theme.
