There is a 5 -page research paper that needs to be completed based on my research topic: nagging

The question I came up with based on my topic is the following:

How effective is nagging? Does it work? Are there any effects it may have on people and is it dangerous? I need to write a research paper and find 3 research findings, which can include any articles on google scholar.

The research question may be changed or revised based on the research articles found. As long as the question has something to do with nagging. After finding 3 articles on google scholar, that are high credited, please complete the 5-page research paper using the structure below,

  • Does the paper satisfactorily introduce the topic, present convincing evidence to support the writer’s position, summarize findings, and offer a reasonable conclusion?

  • Is my research question clearly stated?
  • Have I answered my research question(s) with strong supporting arguments?
  • Is there a balanced synthesis of facts and opinions?
  • Have I made my points clear and interesting but remained objective?
  • Are there illustrative examples/excerpts?
  • Is there a conclusion that leaves the reader with a clear understanding of the writer’s point of view?

Organization

  • Is the paper’s structure apparent and easy to follow?
  • Are my arguments presented in a logical sequence?
  • Does one paragraph or idea flow smoothly into the next?

Mechanics and sentence structure

  • Are sentences well-formed, appropriately varied in length and style, and used for different effects?
  • Is the paper generally free of typographical and grammatical errors?
  • Are there any run-on or unfinished sentences?

Critical thinking

  • Do I raise thought-provoking questions?
  • Do I mention the strengths and the limitations of the studies that I cite in the paper?
  • Do I offer evaluative comments?

Proper citation

  • Are all my sources properly cited to ensure that I am not plagiarizing?
  • Are all my citations accurate and in the correct format?
