You are caring for a 28 year old women from India who requested a tubal ligation during her scheduled C-section. The procedure was performed without the knowledge of her husband. The husband wants more children. The next day the covering physician, a male of the Arabic culture, tells the husband as he feels it was his duty to let the husband know. He did this without the consent of the wife. She is very upset.
