Campaign Proposal on women’s discrimination in the workplace and what should be done to change that.
You begin by outlining exactly which aspect you are going to campaign on and what you intend to achieve in the campaign – is it awareness, legislative change, funding, acknowedgement, representation, compensation, revisions in policy and practice, something else?
This is your introduction
Is there some individual or organization with the authority to bring about the change you are seeking? Is it the responsibility of the local council, state government, federal government? Is there a particular minister, or another leader? Is it someone in the business sector? What is the best way to influence their decision-making?
This is your first key point.
How are you going to reach out to find your supporters? Where would you most likely find like-minded citizens who could join your cause? What would be the best way to motivate them to take action? What kind of action are they likely to take? What are you going to ask them to do? What’s the best medium to reach your supporters? Are you organizing a petition, letterbox drop, guerilla postering, memes?
This is your second key point.
Public activities are an important aspect of any campaign, what form will yours take? Are you organizing an art installation, a music event, a protest rally, a march, a vigil, a letter writing campaign, something else? Are you looking for coverage in the MSM, if so, how will you make this happen? How will you publicize your activities to get maximum attention? Who’s attention are you seeking? This is your third key point.
How will you know if your campaign has been successful? Is it about the number of views, likes, signatures, people who showed up? Is it about how much coverage you received? Is it about making the change you are seeking actually happen?
